OBSTETRICS
University of Chicago obstetricians-gynecologists manage women's care during normal pregnancies. Their obstetric patients are women who are in good health or who have common medical conditions.
GENERAL GYNECOLOGY
These physicians provide preventive and routine gynecologic care including the treatment of endometriosis, pelvic pain, sexually-transmitted diseases, the symptoms of menopause, and uterine fibroids. They counsel their patients on family planning/contraception and perform gynecologic surgeries including laparoscopy and endoscopy.
SPECIALIZED GYNECOLOGY
The Gyn and Reconstructive Surgery Section provides specialized gynecologic care for the comprehensive evaluation and treatment of pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, and vulvar pain.PROGRAMS
We offer several special classes for expectant families, including a maternity unit tour, infant CPR and safety, Lamaze childbirth preparation, infant care for expectant parents, breastfeeding, and more.
